‘Successful Futures’ - Professional Learning Opportunity

The Post Graduate Certificate (Leadership) will provide participating teachers with the knowledge, skills and understanding to support the development and implementation of ‘Successful Futures’ through a leadership perspective.

The two modules will explore and build upon the work of Professor Graham Donaldson, drawing on the evidence gathered across Wales, the UK and beyond to inform thinking.

This module offers opportunities to create forward-looking leaders with a clear understanding of pedagogy and curriculum planning for the 21st Century and beyond.

The programme offers participants the opportunity to:

  • Be involved in a teacher enquiry framework which will support practice based investigation, critical reflection and professional learning.
  • Support the link between professional learning and school improvement.
  • Encourage collaborative professional learning and the sharing of good practice
  •  Examine the main influences of ‘Successful Futures’.

The programme will be delivered with input from successful teachers and leaders alongside university tutors. The modules are part of the UWTSD masters framework and can lead to an MA Education.

Please come along to our taster session on:  24 April at 14:30 in Carmarthen (Location TBC)
